Super Mario 64: Chaos Edition 120 Star - Funnies and Fails Compilation

Hey everyone!
Over the past month, I've been addicted to the Chaos Edition of Mario 64 (ROM Hack) and I wanted to make a full 120 Star playthrough of it. However, due to the ridiculous amount of RNG used in the hack (one random gameshark code added every 5 seconds), it was near impossible to make it into one video. Plus the fact that the game crashed countless times during recording, topped with about 30 hours of game footage in total. I then decided to make a compilation video, listing all the funny moments and the hilarious fails that I happened to experience during my playthrough, so I bunched them all together.

This hack was pretty awesome to play and every star collected feels like a great accomplishment, however, some of the stars were so tedious and tiring that it almost made me want to give up (BoB 100 coins for example). Since I'm persistent and stubborn, I wanted to fully beat the game, collect 120 stars and beat Bowser, which is the final clip used in the video. The game was beaten after many, many hours, and the accomplishment feels awesome.

The video uses two different versions of the hack, so some codes are apparent in some clips and others not. All the clips without Mario's cap used the release version (which included a lot more crashing of the game, and a few codes such as hyperspeed and squashed Mario) and the clips with Mario's cap were part of the second release (less crashing (although still loads) and the removal of hyperspeed and squashed Mario).

I had a lot of fun playing the game and creating the video, and I hope that you guys enjoy the work I put into it. Maybe I’ll make another compilation in the future.
