The UNIQUE Leica DMR Is INCREDIBLE!!

Good morning you awesome hardcore camera geeks! In the early 2000s, at the dawn of the new Millennium, as the 100 year rule of analog film was coming to an end, and digital photography was taking over the world, there were still millions of film camera shooters who dreamed of having a digital solution to keep their film gear alive. The solution would be a digital back. In Medium Format, there have been a lot of digital backs but for 35mm, there was only one. The Leica Digital Modul R. And it would remain that way for almost two decades until the "I'm Back!" project resurrected that idea. However, it is not anywhere near the level or quality of the Leica DMR. I touch upon this a little bit too in this video.

I've had a year and a half to figure this thing out and now I share my findings with you. I've waited twenty years to do this review! As a bonus I will also do a mini review on the Leica R8 as the DMR is intertwined with the R8 and R9 cameras.
