«Йшла дівчина лучками» - одна з найвідоміших народних пісень, яка сьогодні зазвучала у стилі української естрадної музики 50-60-их років.

В інструментальні програші композиції дуже органічно вплітаються мелодії двох відомихтворів одного з найвидатніших киян, композитора Ігоря Шамо: «Дніпровський вальс» та «Києве мій». Вони, без перебільшення, є музичними візитівками столиці України. 

У новому прочитанні “Йшла дівчина лучками» стала своєрідною музичною вінтажною листівкою з привітаннями Києва до 1541-річниці від The Alibi Sisters.

"A Girl Walked through the Meadows" is one of the most well-known folk songs, which resounds today in Ukrainian pop music retro style. The mood and melody of this song are recreating the traditions of the park orchestra’s sound of 50s and 60s.

Just feel that forgotten vibe of popular waltzes that echoed in the open air in Kyiv 70 years ago.
The melodies of two well-known works of one of the most talented composers, origin from Kyiv, Ihor Shamo, namely "Dnipro Waltz" and "My Kyiv", are very organically interwoven into the instrumental bridge of the composition.

In this new interpretation, "A Girl Walked through the Meadows" has become a kind of musical vintage postcard with greetings to Kyiv on its 1541st anniversary from The Alibi Sisters.
