It matters to me // Otis & Maeve

Here's my new video for the king and queen of angst.

Let me just first say how surprised I was at how many people left this ship. I get that they're a lot, and angsty but guess I'm just a sucker for those. I also loved Ruby and Isaac, and I think we can only applaud the writers for that.. Making fans like other ships so fast and so passionately takes good writing. I loved this season. Sex Education matured a lot and has such a great varity of interesting characters it's insane. But these two will always stand out for me. Even if people don't really see it anymore they're at the heart of the show and they truly do carry it.

I do agree that we need to see more of them, more casual moments.. just like in Season 1. All it took for me is to rewatch some of these moments and then you just realise how special these two are.

Yes, Otis is great with Ruby. He could change a lot, and change her. And yes, Isaac and Maeve had a beautiful moment together and could have worked out as well but that's not what love is about. Despite everything these two live and breathe for one another. Constantly on each others minds.. and the chemistry is insane. The show has a lot of "forced passionate kissing" as I like to call those and the kiss between Asa and Emma was INSANE. How they tried to back away but just couldn't... Phew!

Anyways, this is a tribute to show why I still love them as much as I do. And how great their story is together. They're just trying to figure it out (and I couldn't be happier for Maeve to go and chase her dreams) but something always brings them back to one another.
I hope this video brings some of the fans back because this truly is a great ship. (and endgame).
