10 months, 45 weeks and 317 days: in the summer of 2020, right before the German DFB Cup Final against Bayern Munich, Paulinho suffered a serious knee injury (including a ruptured cruciate ligament) in a Bayer 04 Leverkusen training session. It was the most tragic moment for the young 20-year-old player just at the beginning of his career. In less than eleven months, the No. 7 of the "Werkself" returned back to the pitch in the last game of the 2020/21 season against Borussia Dortmund. We have been following the Brazilian Youth player on his long and difficult road back to full fitness and returning to action. #NeverStopFighting
