How a Family’s Sacrifice inspires an LCS Pro | DRIVE: Massu

Massu’s journey to the LCS stage has been unlike any other. Born in Iraq at the height of the Iraq War, he and his family fled their homeland when he was just a baby, after his father narrowly escaped a kidnapping attempt in Baghdad. Although Massu’s time in Iraq was cut short, his ties to his homeland remain close at heart.

Now, as he enters his first LCS playoffs, Massu reflects on the sacrifice his parents made all those years ago, one that has allowed him to pursue his dreams in the #LCS.
