Nicola Sturgeon reacts to husband's embezzlement charge

Nicola Sturgeon has admitted to facing an "incredibly difficult time" after her husband Peter Murrell was charged in connection with the embezzlement of SNP funds.

Mr Murrell, who was chief executive of the party until March 2023, had earlier been rearrested amid a long-running Police Scotland investigation into the SNP's finances, dubbed Operation Branchform.
