The best

In this video I discuss the different types of hummingbird feeders I have used and why the raised platform feeder is the one that I prefer. Here are a few things to think about as you are purchasing a hummingbird feeder:
- is it easy to clean
- is it easy to take apart to refill
- does it have an ant moat if you have ants
- does it prevent rain from dripping into the nectar reservoir (take a look at where it is connected to the hook to hang up)
- does it prevent bees and wasps from getting to the nectar

I only use raised platform feeders as they keep the bees, ants, and wasps away from the nectar but most of all they are the easiest to clean and maintain! And of course if you are interested in attracting hummingbirds to your yard, a fantastic way is to include flowers that they love.
