CORRECTION: Someone pointed out that you can set the action for the buds to control volume in the settings. This seems to be correct, however I believe the option is only limited to Apple devices. It functions with one bud as volume up, and one as volume down. It would also prevent the other common functions from working (changing modes, etc). I standby my concerns of NOT having a dedicated volume control on the physical bud.
