A significant winter storm continues to impact the Upper Midwest early this morning. The Twin Cities have seen a steady snow overnight, with accumulation on all surfaces. Travel is dangerous, with multiple slide offs seen across the Minneapolis area. Many cars can be seen on the side of the highway or in the ditch due to the treacherous road conditions. Roads are snow packed, and plows are trying their best to keep up with the snow rates. A winter storm warning remains in effect for the Twin Cities until later today.
