Camping, Wood Stove & Hugh Glass: Boondocking South Dakota

In this video I make a pilgrimage to the "real" survivor, Hugh Glass. Located about 12 miles south of Lemmon SD is a free campground that "bears" his name. With beautiful views and an incredible story, I humbly admit the days of a true adventurer are long past, but the little adventures we all can still take are well worth the effort.

Trailer: 2004 Aliner with around 80,000 miles of hard use. Includes propane stove, hot shower, toilet, refrigerator, 200W solar, two 12V batteries (one AGM)
Tow Vehicle: 2007 Jeep Liberty, 6 cyl 3.7L gas engine, 4WD, over 238,000 km
