It's time to get ready for Ghostbusters: Afterlife! You can't catch a ghost without laying out the right trap. Get sucked in while we continue to explore science behind the fiction in Ghostbusters. We look back at Dan Aykroyd's inspiration and how the trap slowly evolved from a simple idea of freezing a ghost to the earliest concepts and scripts. From fabrication to the final film, the trap continued to evolve in The Real Ghostbusters, Extreme Ghostbusters, and Ghostbusters: The Video Game. From there, we take the in-universe physics and discuss how the subatomic nature of ghosts is used to ultimate pull them in and contain them.
