It was an unforgettable and historic day, a Sunday that will be remembered forever. 23 May 2021 will always be a day of festivities, thanks to Inter’s 19th Scudetto being lifted. The title really arrived on 2 May, with 4 games to spare, but was celebrated with a last league game that was characteristically energy-filled: a brilliant 5-1 win over Udinese.
The last day of the season was a party. The Nerazzurri supporters were waiting for the team outside San Siro, with a crazy welcome for the coaches bringing the players to the ground. Chants, flags and screams for a truly unique pre-game build-up.
Inside San Siro, 1000 fans spectated: a gradual return to normality allowed for a small group of Inter fans to be back in the stadium cheering on their team from the stands. From there, they witnessed the five goals scored by Young, Eriksen, Lautaro, Perisic and Lukaku.
Then came the special, unforgettable moments: Samir Handanovic lifted the Scudetto trophy, on a stage erect in the middle of the pitch, with the whole squad celebrating around him. It was an amazing moment for the Inter players on the pitch and fans in the stands. Then, once the players had embraced one another and their families and taken pictures of the celebrations on the pitch, one of the most iconic moments took place.
The players went up to Tower 4 of San Siro and looked out, showing off the trophy. Underneath where they stood, a sea of Interisti could be seen. A touching moment, with chants, flags, smoke bombs and fireworks, in a “socially-distanced” embrace that must have given everyone chills.

Una giornata indimenticabile e storica. Una domenica da ricordare, per sempre. Il 23 maggio 2021 resterà come il giorno della grande festa nerazzurra per il 19° Scudetto della storia dell'Inter. Un titolo arrivato il 2 maggio, con 4 turni d'anticipo, e celebrato con un finale di campionato sempre al massimo, compresa la bella vittoria per 5-1 sull'Udinese.
Ma l'ultima giornata di campionato è stata una festa. I tifosi nerazzurri hanno atteso la squadra fuori da San Siro con una accoglienza da brividi per i pullman che hanno portato i giocatori all'interno del Meazza. Cori, bandiere e striscioni per un pre-partita davvero unico.
All'interno del Meazza 1.000 spettatori: un graduale ritorno alla normalità che ha permesso a una piccola fetta di popolo interista di tornare a tifare e a esultare dagli spalti di San Siro. Da lì hanno assistito ai cinque gol firmati Young, Eriksen, Lautaro, Perisic e Lukaku.
Poi i momenti più speciali, quelli indimenticabili: Samir Handanovic ha sollevato il trofeo dello Scudetto, sul palco montato al centro del terreno di gioco, con tutta la squadra in festa. Un momento indimenticabile per la squadra nerazzurra e per i tifosi sugli spalti. Poi, dopo le foto di rito e l'abbraccio dei giocatori con le rispettive famiglie sul prato del Meazza, è stato tempo per uno dei momenti più iconici.
I giocatori nerazzurri sono saliti sulla torre 4 di San Siro e si sono affacciati mostrando il trofeo dello Scudetto. Sotto di loro la distesa, la marea del popolo nerazzurro. Un momento da brividi, con cori, bandiere, fumogeni e fuochi d'artificio, in un abbraccio a distanza che ha esaltato tutti.
