Based on rational anatomical basis, and the acquired experience with SRT, described by Ferreira MG et al, and Cartilaginous Push-Down with Preservation of the Bony Cap, described by Ishida LC et al, the authors designed a new technique for reduction rhinoplasty. This new technique named “Spare Roof Technique B” or “Ferreira-Ishida Technique” preserves the bony cap and ensures intact brow-tip dorsal aesthetic lines.
