The Royal Armouries International Joust - Easter 2024

Over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend the Royal Armouries invited jousters from the UK, France and Italy to participate in their EPIC 2024 International Jousting Tournament!

And what a tournament it was!

8 shows in 4 days packed full of medieval action!

I was lucky enough to interview the marshal of the tournament, jousting legend Mr Andy Deane and two of the most experienced jousters, Mr Mike Collin of Team UK and Monsieur Luc Petillot from Team France.

Charge down the tilt rail with Andy, Mike and Luc as we find out about the history of modern jousting, the challenges of the sport and what it takes to suit up, grab your lance, spur your horse on and charge down the tilt rail!
