The Modi government Friday announced that former PM P.V. Narasimha Rao would be honoured with the Bharat Ratna. In Ep 531 of Cut The Clutter, originally published on 24 July 2020, Editor-in-Chief Shekhar Gupta dwells on the Congress’ tenuous relationship with Rao — who set India on the path of unprecedented economic reform — discussing the party’s rejection of the former PM, and its rediscovery of him over 15 years after his death.
