In this golf lesson with Maverik, Henry and I teamed up to show him how to stop scooping the golf ball and achieve a lower launch angle.

For those that tend to flip and scoop at impact, in this video lesson we uncover a few ways to go about creating shaft lean at impact and thus lowering the dynamic loft. With Maverik being a former baseball player, we also encouraged him to strike the ball and move much like he did during his hitting days, albeit limited as a pitcher. We also tended to his golf grip and talked about the differences we see from the baseball grip.
