During college basketball game between Illinois and Houston, Illinois was called for the dumbest technical foul in college basketball history when Illinois' RJ Melendez hung on the rim after dunking the ball. If he had let go, he would have fallen or hit his head. Houston went on to defeat Illinois 68-53.
