Wine stands for Wine Is Not an Emulator. It gives Linux the ability to run a wide variety of Windows desktop apps through a compatibility layer, not an emulator. Because Wine can run on Linux, it can be containerized and therefore means that Windows desktop apps can be delivered through Linux container. In this video, we look at how to do this and some of the caveat for doing this.
