This parametric model is inspired by the kinetic structure 'the Pearl' from Breakfast Studio. It was created using Grasshopper 3D in Rhino 8.

The first step involved creating a simple procedural animation that would affect the movement of each cell. Subsequently, a parametric model was generated with two different types of grids. Since Grasshopper does not offer an option to import a video, we utilized a C# code to import the image sequence. For each frame, we extruded the RGB values, converted them into vectors, and used them to orient the cells in their local planes.

This process can be applied to any shape, utilizing any video, for as many cells as necessary. Currently, the cells are only rotating in 3D space around the local point, but the algorithm can be further enhanced by pushing the cell (utilizing the alpha channel from the image sequence).
