ALL LAPTOPS: DISPLAY NOT COMING ON? BLACK or BLANK SCREEN, DIM DISPLAY?

One of these 3 easy steps should fix 90% of your display problems on your laptop that will not turn on.

1) Discharge Static 100%- You need to completely discharge the static 100% to get it up and running. Many of you did not deplete all the static. Do this... 30, 1, 2 method. Eject the battery, and unplug your AC power cord from your laptop. Hold your power button down for 30 seconds, then let go, plug the AC back in and power up the laptop. If no go, do it for 1 minute, then 2 minute the same exact steps.

2) One of your RAM sticks is faulty. Try taking one out, switching ram slots, use an extra ram laying around if you have one. Every time you rearrange the RAM start the computer back up to see if you display is back up and running like it was brand new.

3) Hook your laptop up to an external monitor or HDTV. Look at your laptop, do you have a VGA or HDMI port? Then hook that up to an external monitor or HDTV. You may have to press F8 to sync them. Look up your laptop monitor some are F3, F10, etc
Note: If you see your display on your external monitor or HDTV you issue is most likely an easy fix but you need to crack your laptop open-- you need to place your inverter backlight.
