Mumbai hoarding collapse: No action despite three BMC notices | Faye D'Souza

On Monday a billboard bigger than an Olympic-sized pool came crashing down in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar killing 16 people and more than 75 were injured. The illegal hoarding flouted several civic rules and despite being flagged at least thrice continued to stand tall. The man behind the billboard is accused in at least 23 criminal cases.
