HUMANITY Video Mapping - Schlosslichtspiele Karlsruhe 2023

The projection mapping «HUMANITY» by Sínoca won the 3rd prize at the BBBank Award 2023. It was presented at Karlsruhe Palace from 16 August to 17 September during the Schlosslichtspiele festival in Karlsruhe, Germany.
The video mapping reflects on the contemporary person, a digitized and networked society promises endless possibilities. However, information overload, increased speeds, and virtual worlds also overwhelm us time and again. "HUMANITY" establishes a sustainable balance between new technologies and people, valuing humanism and giving more space to our emotions.

HUMANITY és el video mapping projectat en el festival Schlosslichtspiele sobre els 170 metres d'ample del Palau barroc de Karlsruhe, la ciutat alemanya de les arts media de la UNESCO. L'obra també ha estat premiada als Premis BBBank.
El mapping fa una reflexió sobre la persona contemporània, una societat digitalitzada i interconnectada que promet una infinitat de possibilitats però que, no obstant, la sobrecàrrega d'informació, l’acceleració en constant creixement i la virtualitat ens aclaparen. "Humanity" convida a prendre consciència i a trobar l'equilibri posant en valor l'humanisme i donant més espai a les nostres emocions.
