The final round of snow in this prolonged winter storm is impacting the Twin Cities today. Heavy snow is falling across the area with rates up to 1.5"/hour. Multiple vehicle accidents can be seen due to the very slick road conditions. Snow can be seen accumulating on all surfaces, including the interstates that run through the Minneapolis metro. Plows are working hard trying to keep up with the snowfall today. Snow removal can be seen at many businesses and parking lots around the region as well. Snow is expected to taper off tonight, but impacts will likely last into midweek.
