Eurohike Air 400 - My first Impressions & Brief Review

I have finally got around to pitching and checking out my new Eurohike Air 400 tent. This is my first pitch and first impressions video, due to regular showers and threat of torrential rain I kept this first review short and sweet.

The tent took me about 30 minutes to pitch, this included pegging out the footprint and guy lines. I was not rushing and also stopped to take some photos while pitching, so I would say that next time I pitch up it will probably take about 20 minutes. This tent is fairly heavy, however once laid out is a simple and relatively quick to pitch for one person.

In this video I mentioned that rain would enter the tent if it was raining due to the angle of the tent at the front door, I neglected to add that I meant that is with the doors open. This is an issue with any tent of this shape and design. A workaround is to purchase either a universal tarp, or a four-metre x five-metre tarpaulin, two king poles, and some guy lines. Once fitted over the front entrance this will protect the entrance from rain and also add undercover outside sitting/utility space. In this video, I have used the Eurohike Universal Tarp Kit as a shelter rather than fitting it over the entrance of the tent.

A CORRECTION:
I stated that the entrance door can be used as a porch/canopy. Out of the bag the doors do not have eyelets fitted, so you would have to either fit eyelets or use tarp clips. Also, you will need a set of king poles and guy lines.

Unfortunately, I never got the opportunity to record a review of my second tent as mentioned in the video due to the constant heavy showers over the three days camping.

I will follow this up with a full in depth video review in June when I have used the tent on several trips. Also, I will show and suggest modifications/ add-ons.
