January is continuing to be warm and rainy in Helsinki, Finland. For a change, we got some snowfall today. This walk explores the district of Alppiharju in Downtown Helsinki.

Alppiharju is a district in the eastern part of the central major district in Helsinki, Finland with a population of 12,000. It consists of sub-districts of Alppila and Harju and is known for its small apartments, high population density, and small households. The residential buildings were mainly built in the first half of the 20th century.
