China Becomes India's Top Trade Partner Despite Border Row LIVE | Vantage With Palki Sharma | N18L

China has become India's top trading partner by surpassing the US in the last financial year. Both sides logged around $118.4 billion in bilateral trade compared to $118.3 billion between India and the US. From 2019 to 2024, India's exports to China witnessed a marginal decline while imports from China surged by 44.7 percent, up from $70.32 billion to $101.75 billion.

India imports around 75 percent of its Electric Vehicle batteries from China along with some other important commodities like electronic goods, smartphones, laptops and telecom parts. This record trade is happening even as border tensions between Beijing and New Delhi remain high.
