Teachers and parents alike force kids to read but the benefits are rarely explained, the truth is that reading is not purely an academic activity but one that holistically improves the lives of consistent readers. Jade is a seventeen-year-old junior whose love of literature has inspired her to speak today about the benefits of reading.
