Expand the Kenwood TK-3201 without KPG-85D!

A new way worked out by me to expand the coverage of the Kenwood TK-3201 handset, without needing the impossible to find KPG-85d software...

If you just want to expand your radio to the full 16 channels of PMR-446, you can simply download my data file and use it directly within the KPG-90d software, without the need for KPG-87d or any hex editing: http://www.normsweb.com/ext/normsweb3...

If you want other frequencies you will need:
KPG-22 or similar programming cable
KPG-90d software (for the TK-3201)
KPG-87d software
A hex editor program (I used Hex Workshop)

All software is easy to find online.

This mod is so much easier than that listed on many websites and does not need you to register or log in. This mod only requires minimal easy hex-editing.
