Prowalk tour in Kyiv #5 TSUM - Opera - Golden Gate - Sofiia

Let's take a walk today from Khreshchatyk along Bohdan Khmelnitsky Street. We will see a large number of museums today!

On our way we will meet a great historical building - the National Opera named after Taras Shevchenko, the pearl of Kyiv. Let's walk in the square near the opera and listen to the beautiful music of the fountain. Once Kyiv was a city of chestnuts and fountains. Alas, due to the military invasion of russia, most of the fountains do not work, but I found a happy exception).
We will also not see the masterful monuments to both Mykola Lysenko and Bogdan Khmelnytsky - they are closed due to rocket fire for their safety.
We love our city and try to preserve our memory.

Further along Volodymyrsky Street we will reach the Golden Gates, if you have not seen the Golden Gates - you have not seen Kyiv))) so let's look at one of the very first shrines of the majestic and ancient city.

I promised you that we would walk in cozy little streets, and so - the route further is just like this until Sofiia Square itself. There will be a short review of the square itself, I will make a separate video on the square itself on a more festive day, subscribe to the channel so as not to miss it)))

Then we will dive into the streets again and look at the summer atmosphere of the evening Kyiv, and we will reach the very Starokiyivskoi Gora. On this mountain we will see a 500-year-old linden and the ruins of the Tithes Church (we are looking forward to restoration).
